Chapter members are invited to meet at the Cosby garden in Rockville, VA for the opportunity to stroll through their beautiful 11 acre azalea and rhododendron garden. Bring a bag lunch and a lawn chair. Date is subject to change based on weather or state of the blooms.
Chapter members who are planning to attend should contact Rick Bauer at rickbauer@cox.net or 757 771-4446 by 17 April so that we know how many people will be attending. Members should bring a picnic lunch and a lawn chair. We plan on eating outside in the garden. If the weather is projected to be inclement, we will notify registered attendees of an alternate date.
Plant sale might possibly be held the following weekend May 1 and/or May 2
Event agenda (including annual meeting, awards, speaker, garden tours) and times will be published when available mid-May.
Annual Holiday Social along with our annual meeting. Budget, donations and slate of officers will be approved at this meeting.
We will be hosting a Zoom Lecture by Dr. Ralf Bauer on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
